The Electric Fence Fault Finder was invented by Paul Thompson in the early 1990s, and revolutionised the way farmers troubleshoot their electric fence. They were initially sold under the name “Paul Thompson Electronics”, and then later under “Pakton Technologies”. The Electric Fence Fault Finder was rebranded for JVA Technologies in 2007.

MB16 Mains Battery Electric Fence Energiser
Designed and manufactured in Australia, JVA’s Mains-Battery IP-Energiser ® range is one of a kind. The MB16, one of the larger energisers in this range, sports an impressive 16 Joules (J) output energy, 23J of stored energy and a choice of either bi-polar or conventional output.
Other notable features of JVA’s MB16 include built-in Wi-Fi (ready to connect to your mobile phone via the cloud using JVA’s App Direct technology), an audible warning if there is a serious fault on the fence, and an LCD display showing both the voltage and power level!

MB8 Mains Battery Electric Fence Energiser
The ‘little brother’ to the MB16, JVA’s MB8 Mains-Battery IP-Energiser ® also sits within the world’s first Wi-Fi enabled IOT Energiser range, and also has its own solar bundle!
Similar to the MB16, JVA’s MB8 can also connect to your mobile phone via the cloud using JVA’s built-in Wi-Fi and App Direct technology), will sound an audible warning if there is a serious fault on the fence, provides the option of bi-polar or conventional output, and sports an LCD display showing both the voltage and power level.
With 8 Joules (J) output energy, 11J of stored energy and an approximate range of up to 80km (depending on the environment and condition of the fence), the MB8 is perfect for smaller monitored electric fence applications.

Electric Fence Lightning Diverter
JVA’s Lightning Diverter, put simply, is a back-up plan for your electric fence. Designed and manufactured in JVA’s Australian office, the Lightning Diverter has been specifically designed to sacrifice itself and protect the energiser in the event of a lightning strike.
Referred to as a multi-stage surge protection device, the Lightning Diverter contains three different layers of protection - a spark gap, metal-oxide varistors and an inductor/capacitor filter. If the surge is too strong for the first barrier, it will be collected by the second and third. Waterproof, affordable and extensively tested, the Lightning Diverter is an ideal option for those who want to avoid costly energiser repairs!
